CPT Jasmine L. Thompson
Department of the Army Banking Officer
CPT Thompson was born on 19 December 1987 in Fort Leonardwood, Missouri. She enlisted in the Army on 18 November 2008 as an Integrated Family of Test Equipment Operator and Maintainer. After completion of Advanced Individual Training at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, she was assigned to the 2nd Infantry Division at Camp Casey, Korea. CPT Thompson deployed in April of 2013 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as an Executive Administrative Assistant with III Corps out of Fort Hood, Texas. While deployed, she was accepted into the Green to Gold Reserve Officer Training Corps as an Active Duty Cadet. CPT Thompson graduated from Texas A & M University –Central Texas with a master’s degree in Business Administration on 13 May 2017 and commissioned as a 2LT in the Chemical Corps. After completing Chemical Basic Officer Leader’s Course in Fort Leonardwood, Missouri, she was assigned to 25th Combat Aviation Brigade at Wheeler Army Airfield, Hawaii, as the Squadron Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Officer from 2017-2019. She then served as an Executive Officer with the 100-442nd Infantry Regiment from 2019-2020. From 2020-2021, she was the 25th Infantry Division Schools OIC. CPT Thompson transitioned to the Finance Branch in 2021 and served as the Brigade S8 for the Division Sustainment Brigade from 2021-2023. She then served as the Deputy G8 for 25thInfantry Division from 2023-2024. She went on to attend the Finance Captain’s Career Course in 2024 and was selected to serve as the Aide-de-Camp for the United States Army Financial Management Command (USAFMCOM) Commander from 2024-2025. She is currently serving as the Department of the Army Banking Officer at USAFMCOM.

CPT Thompson’s awards include: Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal with one oak leaf cluster, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal with three bronze oak leaf clusters, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Bronze Campaign Star, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Ribbon, and the NATO Medal.
