The Association of Military Banks of America (AMBA) proudly continues the legacy of Raleigh A. “Andy” Trovillion with the annual Andy Trovillion Scholarship. This scholarship celebrates Andy’s profound impact on military banking and education, following his distinguished career and contributions as a former faculty member of the Graduate School of Banking (GSB) and AMBA board chairman.
The Andy Trovillion Scholarship is designed to support the educational aspirations of individuals connected to the military who share Andy’s passion for the banking sector. Eligible applicants include those serving or who have served honorably as active duty, Reserve, or National Guard members of the U.S. Armed Services, as well as military spouses and spouses of veterans.
Each scholarship recipient will receive $1,500 per session, contributing a total of $4,500 towards tuition for the three GSB resident sessions. This substantial financial aid underscores AMBA’s commitment to fostering the development of military-affiliated professionals in the banking industry.
Eligibility and Application Details:
- Eligibility: Active duty, Reserve, and National Guard members, along with military spouses and spouses of veterans, are encouraged to apply.
- Scholarship Amount: $1,500 per session, totaling $4,500 for three sessions.
- Application Deadline: Graduate School of Banking scholarship applications must be submitted by March 1, 2025.
