In response to a need for additional choices for Veterans receiving monetary benefits, AMBA and the Department of Veterans Affairs – Veterans Benefits Administration have partnered to launch the Veterans Benefits Banking Program on Friday, 20 December 2019.
Veterans deserve the best options for receiving and managing their monetary benefits. This program will highlight additional options for Veterans who mainly receive their benefits on Direct Express prepaid cards or paper checks. The banks that have initially agreed to participate in this program are willing to assist Veterans as they set up bank accounts. Veterans can also deposit their benefits in an existing bank or credit union checking or savings accounts.
