2018 Department of the Army Distinguished Bank Award Nomination Open

United States Army Financial Management Command is requesting nominations for the Army’s 2018 Distinguished Bank Service Awards. Since 1984, commanders have nominated their installation banks and credit unions on an annual basis. These awards recognize the on-post bank and credit union branches that have provided exceptional financial service and support to their communities.

2. Submit award nominations for calendar year 2018 in accordance with the attached criteria. Prepare nominations in the format provided with an endorsement memorandum from the installation commander. Financial institutions on joint installations primarily serving Army personnel are eligible for consideration. Please e-mail completed nomination packets to the Department of the Army Banking Officer, jennifer.c.evans.mil@mail.mil, by 31 March 2019 to receive consideration.

3. The awards will be presented in August 2019 at the annual conference hosted by the Association of Military Banks of America.
