part 7 of an 8-part series
Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) services are available at every military installation. You might be surprised that even at a small installation, there can be a very robust MWR program. In fact, I bet you don’t even know half of the activities, supplies, tools, resources, and benefits that your MWR program has to offer. Did you know that your trip to the Commissary, Exchange, and other facilities on your installation will help fund these programs?
Finding out more about what the MWR program at your installation has to offer can definitely save you money. From planned trips and activities (which can be really amazing overseas) to renting chairs and tables from Outdoor Recreation for your next get together, the savings are passed down to you. Find out more about your installation’s MWR program and see how you can save money and have some fun!
