Omuso is a former public sector advisory consulting leader and career Army officer. Immediately prior to joining AMBA, he spent two years as a director at two large management and technology advisory consulting firms focused on account planning, business development, and client solutions delivery.
Omuso is a retired U.S. Army Brigadier General with extensive experience in leading diverse teams over a 30-year career while managing the budget development and execution of some of the Army’s most complex strategic funding programs supporting force readiness worth billions of dollars. His previous assignments include service as the Director of Resource Management for the U.S. Army Installation Management Command, overseeing the management and budget execution of funding resources for services and facilities across Army installations. Prior to that, he served as the Director of Operations and Support within the Army Budget Office, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Financial Management & Comptroller). His other past assignments include command and senior staff positions with deployments and postings at multiple locations across the continental United States, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.
He holds a BS in Economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He also holds a MS in Management Information Systems from Bowie State University, an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University, and a MS in Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College. He holds Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) certification from the Society of Defense Financial Management.
