Brigadier General (Ret.) Omuso George joins AMBA team as Chief Operating Officer

The Association of Military Banks of America is pleased to announce its new Chief Operating Officer, Brigadier General Omuso D. George, USA (Ret.).  After a stellar career in leadership and finance, including two years in the private sector and thirty years as an Army finance officer, General George will bring a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a new perspective to the AMBA team.

Major General (Ret.) Steven J. Lepper, President and CEO of the Association of Military Banks of America (AMBA) is pleased to announce that Brigadier General (Ret.) Omuso D. George has been selected to serve as AMBA’s new Chief Operating Officer. General George comes to AMBA following a stellar career in leadership and finance including two years in the private sector and thirty years as an Army finance officer.

In making the announcement, General Lepper remarked, “The Association of Military Banks of America is pleased to welcome General George. His distinguished public and private service, including many years as an Army leader, brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a new perspective to the AMBA leadership team. His deep experience in finance and military leadership will serve AMBA well as we continue to work with our military banks and our public and private sector partners to improve the financial wellbeing of our nation’s military and veteran communities.”
